Contemporary calf with gilt rules and decoration to spine and board edges, raised bands, marbled text block and endpapers. Light rubbing and wear; very slight crack to head and tail of front joint, not affecting strength of binding; light foxing to beginning and end leaves; pencil and one ink notation to front endpapers and half-title; light staining to borders and versos of a few scattered plates. Bookplate of Irish priest and antiquarian John O'Mahony to front paste-down. Very Good.
