Scarce souvenir program from the 1917 Los Angeles Athletic Club Swimming Championships. Includes a program of events as well as photographically and sometimes cartoon illustrated profiles of star swimmers. These include Dorothy Burns, the 1916 national champion backswimmer, and Aileen Allen, the national champion fancy diver; both women (the only two women mentioned in this program) would go on to win championships in Southern California and nationally in later years, as well.
