Scarce broadside featuring an illustration of the San Quentin Six bound in chains, with the frontmost man holding his chains as if he were about to break them. Although no publisher or artist is named here here, the Library of Congress attributes the poster to Rachael Romero and the Wilfred Owen Brigade, and certainly the style is consistent. Romero (b. 1953) cofounded the Wilfred Owen Brigade with Leon Klayman in 1975; the artists' collective later changed its name to the San Francisco Poster Brigade.
