The body of the poster is an illustration of a raised fist holding a burning torch, with an illustration of Woods in profile inside the flames. A note in small text at the bottom of the poster reads: "On February 2, 1976, Dessie Woods, a Black woman, was railroaded into prison for successfully defending herself against a rape attack by an armed white man. For resisting this form of colonial violence, Dessie Woods is now serving 22 years in the Georgia Women's Institute of Corrections.
