Later printing of this poster first issued in 1971 by the Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Asia, Africa and Latin America (OSPAAAL), a Cuban anti-imperialist organization that sought to aid decolonization, independence, and human rights movements worldwide. The poster graphically depicts the August 1971 death of George Jackson, with a stylized image of Jackson lying bleeding from three gunshot wounds, with his blood pooling into the image of an upside-down American flag.

OCLC locates three holdings of the first printing, at the University of Illinois, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the International Institute of Social history, and we find copies of that printing in the Roz Payne Sixties Archive at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, the Library of Congress, and the Hoover Institute.
