A scarce broadside for a meeting of the Ohio Pomological Society, held in September 1859. The broadside urges fruit growers and nurserymen to meet with the committee of the society at the court house in Zanesville, and "[p]ersons having specimens of New and Rare Fruits are requested to present them for examination."

An uncommon and dramatically typeset survivor, that points to the efforts of the society to discover and grow new and diverse fruits.
