Come with Us through a Golden State Butter Factory. Twelve Modern, Sanitary Creameries.
[San Francisco]: Golded State Butter, (n. d.). Circa 1915. 4-5/8" x 3". Unpaginated, but 6 pp including inside covers. White stapled pamphlet printed in orange and black, half-tone illustrations throughout. Slight soiling to wrappers, else fine.
Small promotional pamphlet charting the company's butter-making process, starting with the cows and ending with cartoning. The booklet stresses the sanitary conditions of the factory and the fact that at no time in the process is the butter touched by human hands, only wooden paddles and machinery that is thoroughly cleaned every day: "No germs lurk here."
