The first of what would be eight workbooks supplementing Larry Townsend's Leatherman's Handbook, with this volume "dedicated to the M", with scenes from the Handbook retold "through the eyes of the M". "Rather than attempting merely to clarify the concepts of the basic text, this Workbook will seek to: 1) Reflect the opinions and reactions of experienced leathermen, and 2) By the use of photographs and drawings, attempt to broaden the horizons of fantasy for those who either fear to commit themselves completely, or else are limited by circumstances (geographic or otherwise) ... The reader will find several ideas expressed in these pages which were not fully covered in the Handbook -- either by oversight or intent.
