Háy's rare second book, published as samizdat in her native Hungary in the early 1980s and with an introduction by Hungarian psychologist Ferenc Mérei. Now an internationally renowned experimental artist and filmmaker, Háy was considered a subversive during the Communist era, and faced persecution for her work. She emigrated to London in 1985 with her partner and fellow dissident György Krassó, who here translates the introduction into English. The book consists of Háy’s b&w drawings of the male and female sex symbols, playfully arranged to suggest different meanings about the interplay between the two sexes.

OCLC locates 5 copies, only two of which are in the U.S., at the Met and the Getty.
