A small collection of promotional material showing the design of a room whose boiserie appears to have been much admired by one Mrs. L. G. Woods, the client addressed in the accompanying TLs. In the letter, Loewi writes, "As I promised you I am sending you herewith the photographs of the beautiful boiserie of which you want to speak to one of your lady-friends. All dimensions are given on the plans which I enclose, but it goes without saying that the pannelling [sic] can be very easily adapted to any size and to quite different walls. ... I am enclosing also a colour-sample which gives an idea of the general colour." Throughout, Loewi expresses his willingness to work with the aforementioned "lady-friend", notes the price of replicating the room, and also adds that two additional panels in which Woods was interested have already been brought to his gallery for her perusal.

Adolfo Loewi was a German Jewish art and antiquities dealer. He opened his Venice gallery in 1911, but left it in the hands of a business partner in 1939, when he left Italy and settled in Los Angeles. He opened another gallery in LA, where he became particularly known as a dealer in textiles.
