Blue cloth two-ring binder containing The Basic Sweet Dough Formula: 5th Edition, Diamalt Recipes, and approx. 50 pp of typescript recipes. Some of the typescript recipe leaves detached and/or chipping at the edges; clippings and recipes laid in and tipped-in; some holograph notes; tear to fore-edge of some leaves of Diamalt Recipes. Good.
Depression-era student binder from the innovative Fleischmann Traveling School, which ran free two-week sessions for aspiring bakers around the country from 1924-1930. Recipes are primarily for rolls, cookies, cakes and other desserts, although the former owner has added some for salads as well.
